Info
If you work in a factory, you have what has traditionally been called a blue- collar job. And if you work in an office, people say that you have a white- collar job. A generation ago, the few professions that were considered to be primarily women's fields were sometimes referred to as pink-collar jobs. And now there’s a new category: green-collar jobs.

A green-collar job is a job working in a green industry, working on something that helps the environment, such as the solar panel or wind turbine industries. With the changes that are taking place in environmental technology and industry, millions of green-collar jobs are on the way—and more of them are being created all the time—so it's very possible that you may eventually have one yourself.
